  14.       To create your own custom help pages in
  15.       HDM's help system, rename this file to:
  16.       HELPA.HDM thru HELPZ.HDM for pages A-Z.
  17.       HELP0.HDM thru HELP9.HDM for pages 0-9.
  18.       Each help page is 21 lines long with 51
  19.       characters per line. The first line will
  20.       also be used for the page index name.

  25. If this file is renamed to HELPX.HDM and it is located in the same directory
  26. as the HDMHELP.EXE file, then its contents will be used as Page X in HDM's
  27. help system.  To try it out, rename HELPDEMO.HDM to HELPX.HDM.  Press F1 in
  28. HDM to display the initial help screen (see A1DEMO.000 and HELPDEMO.000 for
  29. information on changing that screen) then press <Enter> to display the menu
  30. of Help Pages.  Press the letter <X> to display page X with your custom help
  31. text.  The index for page X will contain the first 20 non-space characters
  32. from the first line of your custom help page.  If your text is not displayed
  33. make sure that the file name is HELP?.HDM (where ? is A-Z or 0-9) and that
  34. it is in the directory where the HDM executable files (*.EXE) reside.

  37. For additional customization see the files:  HDMDEMO.HDR for the logo/header
  38. screen and A1DEMO.000 & HELPDEMO.000 for menu entry & menu file help screens.
  39. You can also have information files displayed & printed by HDM's help system
  40. by giving the files a DOC extension (*.DOC) and putting them in the same
  41. directory as HDMHELP.EXE.  Press F2 while in HDM's help to see your files.
